I am thinking of getting the Audio Technica ATH-m50 headphones, and they come with the choice of straight or coiled headphones. I want to know what the difference is, and which one I should get.
Also, I am only getting the headphones for listening to music & watching movies on my laptop or iPod (I am not a DJ or a music recorder).
If your only getting it for your ipod or laptop, the coil might be a little annoying..but if they are the same price I would defintley get the coil. The difference is that coil will last wayyyyy longer than straight. They are made to take less damage, and in the end you will be getting your monies worth.
