Dj Mixer Amplifier Questions

Dj Mixer Amplifier
How do you daisy chain DJ Amplifiers ( amps )?

I bought this amplifier:

http://www.123dj.com/amps/technicalhifi/x5000.html

and im wondering if theres any way to daisy chain 2 of these amplifiers together so that i can plug more speakers in. basically what im trying to do is plug my mixer in to one amp and have that amp connected to another amp so instead of only having 6 outputs i could have 12 meaning i could plug in more speakers. Can someone tell me if this is even possible with this amp & if yes explain exactly how to do it?

Mark – It is not very hard but you will need at least two “Y” cables.

If your mixer is a DJ mixer that has RCA outputs, get two female to two male “Y” cables:

If your mixer uses XLR outputs, you will need two of these:

You can get these at any store that sells musical instruments and pro sound equipment (or DJ equipment).

Connect one “Y” cable to the left output of your mixer and the other to the right. Then just feed the left and right inputs of the two amps from the two outputs of each “Y” cable – very easy.

Learn How To DJ – Top 5 Steps To Success

Learn The best way to DJ: 5 Excellent Tips and hints That Will Help You Become a Skilled DJ

You may possibly have already got the willingness to be a competent DJ along with the cash to purchase the sweetest DJ gear. You may be well connected, and possess a large amount of friend supporters, promoters for getting you gigs, and links in the night clubs and pubs. But do you have the right skills to achieve success? People assume that with virtual dj software packages, the easy to use digital mixers, and mp3 music, anyone can become a DJ. Regrettably, this isn’t accurate. Becoming a Professional DJ requires training, flair, as well as modus operandi. Anyone could be a bedroom DJ and simply mess around, {but|howeve seriously planning on working the nightclubs andbars ,you need to know what you’re doing.

In a night club or hall atmosphere, you’ll find that if your beat is off, your fades are weak, or if your scratching is awful; this is amplified a thousand times in this environment. So if your guests aren’t throwing tomatoes at you, I guarantee the club will be looking for a new DJ for the following weekend. In the entertainment business, you don’t get many chances.

If you really want to become a DJ and want to learn the proper club DJ methods to astonish your guests, be certain to obtain appropriate lessons. You could find instruction from the DJ accademy, but they cost over a $100 an hr which is very expensive and not necessary. There is a lot of great material on youtube and the web, but it really tends to be scattered, so finding a place to begin, mid point etc. could be a problem no doubt. What I would recommend is taking a look at this within your means, yet powerful video preparation tool. The product takes you through the basics, from clean beat matching into the advanced tactics you’d take notice of at a great club. The package is called Pro DJ Mixing Quick & Easy. The product is so powerful, they promise that you can be mixing like a Pro Club DJ in just two weeks. That may seem irrational, but evaluate fitness products like P90X which promises you’ll have a ripped body in ninety days. So with lots of commitment, practice, and guidance it is possible to become a pro DJ in exactly 2 weeks.

After starting something new, there is definitely that fear of letdown, embarrassment, and of course wasting money. There’s no doubt that with music, if you are that captivated with it, it will never be a waste of cash. Also, the investment in high-priced gear won’t ever be wasted, plus it’s a outstanding stress reliever and amazing interest. I will give you five tips to set you on your path to success.

1) Firstly, it’s essential to get the proper gear. It is very important that your equipment needs to be of high quality. If you bought inexpensive decks, then don’t expect that remixes shall be that great. It’s truly aggravating utilizing mediocre DJ gear. You may need to spend a fortune of money because of this but if you receive the proper tools, it will likely be well worth your funds. It also relies upon too what your tunes is on. If all your music is controlled on CD’s, then find a top notch Numark or Pioneer CD DJ set. If you are similar to myself, and the whole thing is on MP3, you may reward yourself with a top quality MP3 mixer such as Numark NS7. In Pro DJ Mixing Quick & Easy DJ Learning System, they utilize a decent but not excessive system, so you will be on the same playing field.

2) Most of the DJ hardware is included with software, but generally the lite version. So you will need to consider upgrading to the complete edition, whether or not it is Virtual DJ, Serato Scratch or Traktor. All the software programs work with Mac or PC. If its in the budget, the MacBook is the very best computer to utilise, since it tends to be the most stable, and offers very good performance. One could investigate the dance clubs yourself, and will uncover that the majority Dj’s are remixing with a Mac.

3) Be trained on your own the hardware and software to the point where you’re familiar with all of the buttons, the features, and how to load and play tracks.

4) Acquire good DJ headphones and amplified audio system. Try to steer clear of utilizing a home theatre package for your music. You’ll find that the surround sound, and 3d effects of a typical home theatre receiver would make it extra tough for you to pay attention to the beats, and will throw your mixing off.

5) Obtain the Pro DJ Mixing Quick & Easy system. This is the most imperative part. You really want to study the most excellent way to do things from the start, instead of getting awful habits. Simple things like being able to count beats, are ignored by some professional Dj’s.

These are the tasks that you ought to have down pat if you desire to grow to be a trained DJ. Practice is the key to become successful in DJing. By possessing the proper equipment and by practicing as regularly as you can, you will be able to contract the understanding you want in order to become a really high-quality DJ who can get the party rockin all night.
