Dj Mixer For Laptop Questions

I want to use my Laptop through my Mixer for DJ work but I need to?
Know the best software to use to help me do this. I have windows vista. I simply want to be able to play my music playlist through the mixer and be able to take requests on the night and feed this into my playlist for a seamless run. I hope I have explained this correctly. What is the best software. Thank you.
You can use iTunes (or any jukebox software) and just have the output of the laptop straight into the mixer. Even Windows Media Player can do it, just drag and drop into the playlist area.
If your still spinning vinyl, the ultimate setup is FinalScratch. You can control MP3′s with your turntables! I’ve used this setup and it’s insane!
