The Hercules RMX is an entry level digital DJ controller. It controls VirtualDJ (Should be included). With the Hercules RMX, a laptop, music, and a set of headphones you will have everything you need to get started.
About the Hercules RMX:
- The good: The Hercules DJ Console Rmx combines a USB mixer with DJ software and is a good entry-level all-in-one unit.
- The bad: The console is heavy, it lacks MIDI output, and is designed for VirtualDJ which is by no means top of the line software.
- The bottom line: As an entry-level digital DJ package it’s a good place to start and a good value.
For a little extra money I’d buy the Vestax Typhoon or VCI-100 which both work with Traktor and are in the same price range.
